We Are Not Afraid

DREAM, DREAM, DREAM

We’ve been told to dream big and envision a future full of prosperity and Glad tidings.

How can we dream if we don’t even sleep?
When you are constantly molesting our future by your selfish desires;
You only care about us few months before elections.
When our well-being is not even at the bottom of your agenda;
How do we sleep?

Every other day, another young boy or girl is being raped and brutally murdered.
We’re now walking and looking over our shoulders
As the pain and regrets sink to the core of our souls,
This generation longs to one day be restored.

The shivering cries of our helpless mothers echo beyond borders and through the trough and crest
of the nation

what’s left to say?
Isn’t this enough already?

Like vultures, you feed on our dreams.
you, Apex Predators, you need to let us breathe

We’ve slept away our destinies
As we soared in your mischievous company.
Caged by your ever failing remedies,
All we had, were tons of tragedies

But yet you covetous, rapacious & avaricious persona non grata
keep disturbing my sleep then you expect me to dream big…

But today, we want you to know…. That it’s over

We have been misled and blinded by your empty promises long enough.
It’s about time that we speak up,
Taking back what you stole from us.
Our hope, courage, dreams, and aspirations
This generation is taking over and we are no longer afraid to be bold.,
Cause this story must be told.

We are not afraid!!!
